Agreement to Terms

By purchasing, accessing, or using BaptismPrep.com (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Site or purchase the course. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and BaptismPrep.

The Product

BaptismPrep is a self-paced, online baptism preparation course delivered as a digital product. Upon successful payment through Stripe, you will receive an email with your unique access code and instructions. Access to the full course -- including all 14 modules, the final quiz, and your downloadable certificate -- is provided immediately after payment confirmation. No physical materials are shipped.

License and Restrictions

Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access the course content for your own educational use. You may not:

• Share your access code or login credentials with others
• Reproduce, distribute, publish, or sell any course materials
• Create derivative works based on course content
• Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or download course content

Payment and Billing

The course is a one-time purchase at the price displayed at checkout. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By providing your payment information, you authorize us to charge the stated amount. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may be subject to applicable taxes. All sales are final unless eligible for a refund under our Refund Policy.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information during purchase and account creation. You agree to use the Site and course materials only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. Each purchase is valid for one individual. If multiple family members or godparents need to complete the course, each person must purchase their own access.

Intellectual Property

All course content, including text, images, design, and structure, is the property of BaptismPrep and its content licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your purchase grants you a license to access the materials for personal use only. It does not transfer any ownership rights to you.

Certificate of Completion

Upon passing the final quiz with a score of 100%, you will receive a digital certificate of completion. This certificate includes your name, date of completion, and a unique verification code. While our course has been accepted by many parishes nationwide, we make no guarantee that any specific parish or diocese will accept this certificate, as preparation requirements vary by location. We recommend confirming with your parish before enrolling if you have concerns about acceptance.

Refunds

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and course are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not guarantee acceptance of the certificate by any parish, diocese, or religious institution.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BaptismPrep and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Site or course. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the course.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered in accordance with applicable arbitration rules. By agreeing to these terms, you waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
